Our Story

Artisan Bakery was founded in 2005 by Maria and John Thompson, a husband and wife team with a passion for traditional baking. What started as a small operation with just the two of them has grown into a beloved local institution.

After years of baking for friends and family, Maria and John decided to turn their passion into a business. They renovated an old storefront in the heart of downtown and opened the doors to Artisan Bakery.

Today, our bakery continues to be family-owned and operated, with the second generation of Thompsons now learning the craft. We remain committed to the same principles that guided us from the beginning: quality ingredients, traditional methods, and a love for bringing joy through baking.
